Rob McConkey

About Me

I'm a mathematics graduate student at Michigan State University, expected to graduate with my PhD in May 2024. My research interest is in the field of Knot Theory. In particular I've been working on relations between fundamental knot invariants and quantum link invariants. My advisor is Effie Kalfagianni.

I also have a masters (2018) from Wake Forest University where I did a thesis with Dr. Jason Parsley. I received my Bachelors degree with honors in mathematics from Oberlin College in 2014.
